This Privacy Policy explains how Saloni Sharma, operator of Kalon and Elemyntz, collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Kalon mobile app or the Elemyntz website.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you create an account, complete your profile, use the service, or contact us. This may include:
- Account and sign-in information, such as your email address, authentication-provider identifier, name, and, when applicable, an Apple private-relay email address or information from Google or Apple sign-in.
- Profile information, such as username, display name, biography, date of birth, profile photos, phone number, nationality, ethnicity, gender, pronoun, education, and interests.
- Content and activity, such as posts, comments, messages, channels, groups, events, map pins, follows, likes, saved items, reports, blocks, notifications, and other interactions. Blog submissions made on Elemyntz are also included.
- Photos and files that you choose from your device and upload. Kalon asks for photo-library access only when you select an image. It does not request access to your contacts, microphone, camera, or background location.
- Technical and security information, such as IP address, device and browser details, operating system, authentication and session logs, error information, approximate network information, and security events.
- Information in support requests and other messages you send to us.
If you create a map pin or add a location to user content, the location you choose may be visible to people who can view that content. Profiles and content marked or designed as public can be seen by other users. Messages and private-channel content are available to their participants and may be reviewed for safety, abuse prevention, or legal reasons.
How we use information
We use information to:
- create, authenticate, secure, and maintain accounts;
- verify the minimum age requirement and complete onboarding;
- provide feeds, search, profiles, messages, channels, events, maps, blogs, and in-app notifications;
- personalize discovery and show relevant people, topics, posts, events, and channels;
- host and display user content;
- process reports and blocks, prevent fraud and abuse, and protect users;
- process subscriptions, restore access, handle refunds or reversals, and maintain our billing records;
- answer support requests, troubleshoot errors, improve reliability, and comply with law.
We do not sell personal information for advertising. Kalon does not currently use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Service providers and sharing
We share information with service providers that help us operate the service. Depending on the feature you use, these providers may include:
- Supabase for authentication, databases, file storage, and realtime services;
- Vercel and related infrastructure providers for web hosting;
- RevenueCat for native subscription purchase and entitlement processing;
- Apple and Google for sign-in and native subscription payments;
- Stripe for hosted subscription checkout and billing management on the Elemyntz website;
- email and security providers, including Cloudflare Turnstile when enabled.
These providers receive only the information needed for their services and must protect it under their agreements with us and applicable law. Their own privacy policies also apply to processing they perform independently.
We may disclose information when required by law, to investigate or prevent harm, to enforce our Terms, or as part of a merger, sale, financing, or other transfer of the service.
Payments and subscriptions
Premium purchases made in the Kalon app use Apple In-App Purchase/StoreKit on iOS and Google Play Billing on Android. Apple or Google handles the payment method and store transaction. RevenueCat receives purchase and entitlement information needed to verify and manage access. We receive an account billing identifier, product and transaction identifiers, subscription status, and dates such as renewal or expiry dates. We do not receive or store full payment-card details from Apple or Google.
Premium purchases made on the Elemyntz website use Stripe-hosted Checkout. Stripe handles the payment details, and we receive the subscription and billing information needed to provide Premium and manage the account. We do not store full card numbers.
Cookies and local storage
The Elemyntz website uses essential cookies and local storage for authentication, security, session continuity, preferences, and basic operation. Kalon stores authentication credentials in the device's secure storage. We do not use these technologies for targeted advertising.
Retention and account deletion
We keep information while your account is active and for as long as needed for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal obligations, and legitimate business records. Service providers may retain limited transaction or security records under their own legal and retention requirements.
You can start account deletion in Kalon under Settings > Delete Account. You can also use the web deletion route. A deletion request disables access immediately. A background process then removes the profile, content, messages, memberships, interactions, application billing records, and project-owned media associated with the account. The process may take additional time. We may retain limited records where required by law or needed to protect users, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or document the deletion request.
Deleting a Kalon account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel those subscriptions in the store where they were purchased. The server attempts to cancel linked Stripe website subscriptions as part of the deletion process, but you should verify the result with Stripe if necessary.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete your personal information. You can update many profile details in the app. To make a privacy request or ask a question, email info@merakielements.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Children
Kalon and Elemyntz are not directed to children under 13. We require a date of birth during onboarding and do not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to register. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will take steps to close the account and delete the associated information.
Security and changes
We use access controls, authentication safeguards, encrypted transport, secure token storage, moderation controls, and monitoring designed to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Policy when the service or legal requirements change. We will post the new version on this page and update the date. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to info@merakielements.com.
